Courtney performed at the Fox Theater in both The Wizard of Oz and Annie, clogged her way right onto the stage at the Grand Old Opry, and was a part of a group of young Performers to perform in Plains, Ga for Pres. Jimmy Carter’s Birthday Celebration. Courtney said “I was too young to remember singing but I do remember seeing Pres. Carter play softball with his secret service team.”
Having graced the stage in front of thousands of fans all across the country for nearly a decade, it all started as a toddler, when Courtney began acting and modeling. She gained her Screen Actors Guild card at age 12 and over the next few years, Courtney honed in on her talents by studying with the top acting and vocal coaches in Los Angeles and. She created an impressive list of appearances for a small town girl from Acworth, Georgia.
In 2009, Courtney recorded her first EP “Taking Chances” at Ocean Way Studios. After much success with the first EP, she has now released the 2015 Courtney Dickinson EP. With songs co-written by Courtney to reflect her style and vocals, she will surely take radio by storm. The release date is planned for April 2015 and a Radio Tour will follow.
Whether it was Courtney’s Ready, Set, Don’t Go, duet with Billy Ray Cyrus at age 12, opening for Cowboy Troy at the Big & Rich party, performing both the National Anthem and a Pre-Show at an Atlanta Braves game, Courtney always finds a way to bring her southern roots to the stage and won’t let anyone forget that she’ll always be a country girl. With a list of performances including CMA Fest, a pre-party for Sugarland at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI , and also performances at Hard Rock Battle of the Bands Atlanta Finale.
Courtney is an active partner in the Musician’s On Call Program, and was a finalist in Dodge’s Inspired by You contest. Her music has been featured by The Gap Clothing Company, Vietti Chili and Dodge.
